Lawyer and human rights activist, Dele Farotimi has spoken about the arrest of popular TikToker, Olumide Ogunsanwo popularly known as Seaking.
According to Premium Times, his legal representative, Inibehe Effiong stated that Seaking was rearrested within the court premises and was subsequently flown to Abuja.
Here is what Inibehe Effiong said;
“After the day’s proceedings, Seaking was rearrested within the court premises and taken to the State Police Command, Ikeja before he was subsequently taken to the Murtala Muhammad Airport from where he is being flown to Abuja".
In a post that Dele Farotimi shared on his official X handle, he stated that why must Nigerians continue to demand for the freedom of one person.
Here is what Dele Farotimi wrote on his page;
"Why must we continue to demand the freedom of one person or the other in a country that labels itself a constitutional democracy? Why have civil liberties become endangered, and fascism reigns in the stead of law? Why do terrorists and looters of the commonwealth walk free, whilst citizens have been reduced to victims in chains?".
