The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Benjamin Kalu has stated that the President of the federal republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is ready to clean up Nigeria.
The Nation reported that Benjamin Kalu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress stated this on Sunday after he feted orphans, widows, PWDs and the aged at his home in Abia State to celebrate his 53rd birthday.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State and National Leader of the All Progressives Congress assumed office on the 29th of May, 2023. His style of governance has generated a lot of mixed reactions from many Nigerians across the country.
Benjamin Kalu said; "The hardship we are passing through was not caused by this man. It’s a piled up case of previous administrations and how they mismanaged one or two things. We cannot continue to live in lies thinking that all is well"
He added; "Tinubu wants to clean up the place so that we can have a genuine livelihood that is sustainable. Let’s keep supporting and encouraging him. I’m not interested in the political party or faith. I’m interested in the colour of humanity which is: if you are up, extend your hands to those who are down"
