Veteran Nigerian singer and activist, Charly Boy, has taken to social media to express his views following the resurfacing of an old video featuring Minister Nyesom Wike. In the video, the former Rivers State governor and current Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, can be seen advising people to steer clear of politics if they wish to avoid betrayal.

Wike, known for his blunt political commentary, stated that politics and betrayal are inherently linked, describing them as having "the same mother and father." He cautioned that anyone involved in politics should be prepared for betrayal in some form.

Charly Boy, reacting to the video on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, did not hold back in his critique of Wike. The singer shared the video and commented on Wike's deep understanding of betrayal, suggesting that Wike himself has a history of betraying others. He specifically pointed to Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, as someone who has allegedly been betrayed by Wike.

In his post, Charly Boy also mentioned the current Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, implying that Fubara had betrayed Wike. He added that Wike now understands what it feels like to be on the receiving end of such treachery, sarcastically advising him to "enjoy his breakfast."
