Kinsmen of late former governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo local government have pledged to work in unison to secure maximum votes for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the November polls.

The Nation reports that, they used all aggrieved members to mend fences and work together for the success of the Aiyedatiwa/Adelami ticket.

Dr. Olayide Adelami, the deputy governor of Ondo state, hosted the Owo APC leaders and stakeholders.

Chief Thompson Akinrinbola, Chairman of the APC Council of Elders in Owo, stated that the APC would repeat its 2020 victory in Owo local government, defeating opposition parties by a large majority.

Samuel Balogun, the Owo APC chairman, stated that Governor Aiyedatiwa's performance will make the campaign easier.

He stated, "I am telling the Deputy Governor that Owo will receive tremendous votes for the APC in the upcoming governorship election.

The reason isn't farfetched.

The Governor and his Deputy are fine individuals, and with the support of party leaders and members, we will win the upcoming election.
