According to Vanguard, Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has issued a stern warning to twelve newly appointed permanent secretaries, urging them to demonstrate unwavering commitment and competence in advancing his ARISE governance agenda. Swearing in the officials in Uyo on Tuesday, the governor emphasized the pivotal role they would play as administrative heads of their respective ministries in driving forward the state's development objectives.
Addressing the newly sworn-in permanent secretaries, Governor Eno underscored the imperative of implementing the ARISE Agenda across all sectors of the state's governance apparatus. He emphasized the need for efficiency and accountability, stating unequivocally that his administration is one of action, not excuses. Governor Eno stressed that the people of Akwa Ibom elected their leaders to deliver tangible results, leaving no room for failure or complacency.
Highlighting the achievements of his administration over the past eleven months, Governor Eno outlined key areas of focus, including agricultural revolution, rural development, infrastructural projects, advanced security measures, and educational advancement.
