According to Punch, Law Lee, an associate of Naira Marley, recently made disparaging comments about the late singer Mohbad, who passed away at the age of 27 in September 2023.

In an Instagram post, Law Lee expressed his deep-seated animosity towards Mohbad, suggesting that his dislike for the deceased only grows stronger with time, even after his demise.

This statement followed a public confrontation on social media between Portable and Zinoleesky, sparked by Mohbad's alleged negative remarks about Zinoleesky, according to Law Lee.

Law Lee attributed the escalation of tensions to Mohbad's purported derogatory comments about Zinoleesky, which he claimed provoked Portable's actions on social media.

He implied that if Mohbad hadn't made such remarks, Portable wouldn't have engaged in the confrontation.

The aftermath of Mohbad's death continues to stir controversy and animosity among those in the music industry, with Law Lee's remarks shedding light on the lingering tensions and grievances.

The incident serves as a reminder of the complexities and rivalries within the entertainment world, where interpersonal conflicts can have lasting repercussions, even after individuals have passed away.

He wrote, “Every day my hatred for Mohbad keeps increasing even after his death …. If not for all those miscap about zino na why this @portablebaeby get mind dey sub am .. Fooooooooooool.”

Mohbad, a former artist signed to Marlian Music, Naira Marley's record label, departed from the label in February 2022.

Following his death in September 2023, the Lagos State Police Command established a special investigation team consisting of 13 members to look into the circumstances surrounding his passing.

The investigation also resulted in the apprehension of Naira Marley and Balogun Eletu, a controversial Lagos socialite known as Sam Larry, along with others.

Prior to their arrest, both Naira Marley and Sam Larry had faced public scrutiny for alleged mistreatment of Mohbad before his demise.
