With political pressure rising to different heights following Gen Z anti government protests, different political leaders from different fronts have shared their opinions about the demonstrations with most choosing sides.
Azimio and Nairobi Mca Robert Alai was not left out in sharing his opinions and claims on the protest which have had the country go to a stand still for three days. Taking to his official X account, Alai argued that the Deputy President, Rigathi Gachagua is highly linked to the protests despite claims that the Gen Z are partyless and leaderless.
According to Alai, Dp Gachagua is using the youths as his puppets to achieve his political goals. He further claimed that the Gen Zs are arrogant people who have no idea who is actually manipulating them.
This comes amidst claims of divisions between President William and his Deputy with the exact issue not been defined. Gachagua has been reported missing a number of critical meetings held by President Ruto.
