Former international footballer, Taiwo Oloyede, has urged Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, to apologize to ex-coach Finidi George for his recent outburst.

In a scathing critique, Oloyede lambasted Osimhen's behavior as "very rude" and devoid of respect for the departed coach.

Recall that Osimhen had publicly expressed his loss of respect for Finidi, citing reports that the coach had hinted he (Osimhen) feigned injury to avoid playing for the Super Eagles in recent games. This verbal assault on Finidi's character sparked outrage among fans and critics alike.

According to report from Legit.ng, Oloyede, a veteran of the beautiful game, believes that Osimhen's actions were unwarranted and hurtful.

In an exclusive interview with Sportsboom, he emphasized the importance of loyalty and respect for coaches who have contributed to a player's success.

"Osimhen must come out and apologize to Finidi George," Oloyede stressed. "What has he done in his life that makes him better than Finidi? Has he won the Champions League? Has he won the Nations Cup? Being the highest goal scorer in the qualifiers is not an achievement if it's not repeated in the tournament proper."
