Ballistic Unit Of The DCI Activated, Says Kindiki

Cabinet secretary of interior, professor Kithure Kindiki was on citizen television addressing the country. The cabinet secretary was specifically addressing the aftermath of the recent violent demonstrations across the country. Several lives were lost and many protesters sustained injuries. In addition, businesses were looted and many properties were destroyed. Youths also barricaded major highways hence completely paralyzing transport.

Kithure Kindiki have assured the country that lives that were lost during demonstrations will be accounted for by his ministry. He claimed that most of protesters who died was due to gunshots. He said that his ministry have activated the ballistic unit of DCI and the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau to help in accounting for the source of ammunition that killed Kenyans. The body will also disclose the circumstances under which the protesters were killed. According to professor Kithure Kindiki, some protesters died of trauma caused by beatings and assault. This unit of DCI is now on the watch of curious Kenyans who have been demanding for justice of those killed during demonstrations.
