The youth have ignored call from Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who asked them to call off Thursday's protests.

" Once you call off the protests, then our security agencies will be in a position to deal firmly and decisively with criminals," DP said.

Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale on Wednesday claimed that the ‘Ruto must go!’ slogan that recently dominated chants during the anti-government demonstrations was not coined by Gen Z protesters.
