Mike Bamiloye, the founder of Mount Zion Films, the gospel movie institute, has advised believers not to listen to the voice of the enemy.
In a recent tweet, he declared that listening to the voice of the devil to do things contrary to the will of God was listening to the voice of a mad man.
He narrated the story of Sarah, Eve and Samson. According to him, Sarah listened to the devil's voice and caused Abraham to sleep with their maid Hagar, Eve listened to him and ate of the forbidden fruit, and Samson listened to him and lost his hair, becoming a prey for his enemies.
However, he described how Joseph refused to listen to the voice of the devil when Potiphar's wife tried to seduce him, and how he was able to fulfill his destiny as a result.
"When you decide to satisfy your pleasure at the expense of the word and command of God for your life, you are obeying the commands of the mad man. When you listen to the voice of the devil to submit yourself to an unrighteous act, you are listening to voice of the mad Man," he wrote.
