They highlighted their significant role in bolstering President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's electoral support, coming in third place after the North West and South West regions. Consequently, they expected a more equitable distribution of rewards for their contributions.

As reported by Vanguard News, the group stated, "It is a fact that the emergence of Dr. Umar Ganduje as national chairman was done against the spirit and soul of the APC which is the constitution of our great party. This singular act has impacted negatively on us as a people in the North Central.
