The suspect responsible for the death of Gloria Adekolure, a 22-year-old graduate of University of Benin, was recently paraded by the police and he confessed how he committed the crime.

In a video shared by Channels TV, the suspect said he saw Gloria walking home at night while playing music and he followed her until they reached a quiet area near a pig farm. He said he grabbed her by the neck and dragged her into the farm, forcing her down. He said he attempted to steal her bag, but two people nearby flashed a torchlight in his direction. He said when he tried to escape with the bag, Gloria stood up and held onto him, so he pushed her against a fence and ran away.

In the suspect's words: "I saw the girl going home at night, and I followed her. While she was walking, she was playing music until we got to a quiet place near a pig farm.
