A Protestor who was allegedly shot by Police officers during the demonstrations against the proposed 2024 finance bill in Nairobi has revealed that most hospitals are filled with patients who were shot by Police.
Several sources have confirmed that the man who has been identified as Erick, while speaking on X Space has stated that some of the police officers who they met have been telling them to continue doing what they are doing.
Erick :Did you see what happened in Githurai, people were Killed, most hospitals in different parts of the country especially in Nairobi are filled with patients. I was shot and rushed to Mbagathi hospital, some of my friends were lying on the floor. Some of the police officers who we have been meeting have told us to continue doing what we are doing. We are not going to meet President William Ruto, you saw what happened in Githurai.
This is happening at the same time when President William Ruto has stated that the government is okay with these Demos.
