The absence of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu from Nigeria following his participation in the World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia has stirred concerns among Nigerians on social media. Despite his presence at the event from Sunday, April 28th to Monday, April 29th, the presidency has remained silent on the reasons for his prolonged absence, leading to speculation and inquiries from the public.

Reuben Abati, a political analyst on Arise TV, addressed the issue, noting the abrupt disappearance of Tinubu from public view following his participation in the World Economic Forum. Abati highlighted Tinubu's notable presence during his meeting with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands and his attendance at the special meeting of the World Economic Forum. However, there has been a conspicuous lack of subsequent appearances or updates regarding his whereabouts.

The absence of official communication from the presidency regarding Tinubu's whereabouts has further fueled speculation and raised questions about the transparency of information dissemination within the government. Concerns have been raised regarding the need for transparency and accountability in keeping the public informed about the activities and whereabouts of public figures, particularly those holding significant political positions.

He said: "We saw him ( President Tinubu) when he met with the Prime Minister of the Netherland, we saw him when he went to react to the World Economic Forum special meeting, and suddenly he just disappeared."
