Indeed history was made as the President/Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie build and furnishes secretariat complex and handed same to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Portharcourt, Rivers State on Thursday, July 4th 2024.
The dedication service was graced by the Executive Governor of Rivers States, Sir Similayi Fubara who also served as the Special Guest of Honour, while speaking at the event, commended the PFN for continuous prayers of the Christian community across the State which has gone a long way in sustaining his administration till date.
Governor Fubara who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government Dr. Tammy Danagogo lauded the brethren and the PFN for their sustained prayers for the State and for constructing a befitting PFN state secretariat for use to the glory of God Almighty.
In his Word "I appreciate the leadership of PFN for towing the path of wisdom, vigour and strength". He specifically thanked the led Pastor of Salvation Ministries for the initiative. "I thank the General Overseer of Salvation Ministries Pastor David Ibiyeomie, for taking up the responsibility and all Christians, we are indebted to you for leading and ensuring the work of God is done. Rivers State is christened as Christian State because of your laudable activities. Be rest assured that this government will always support your activities because we know that your prayers over the years has been sustaining us. And we need your prayers today more than ever before. This government will never betray the trust you have reposed on us" he concludes.
In his brief sermon, the National President of PFN, Bishop Francis Wale Oke, admonished Christians to remain committed, courageous and finish their God given assignment as they toe the path of Jesus Christ. He prayed for God's grace upon the government and the good people of Rivers state even as he encouraged all to pursue peace with all men as stated in God's word - Hebrew 12 : 14.
"Let us follow peace with all men, without peace, we can't see the Lord and when we stand praying, forgive. He declared greater glory ahead of Rivers State.
The Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, who served as the chairman of the project committee thanked God for His grace to embark on the project, he thereafter handed it over to the state PFN who is chaired by Reverend Dr. Minaibi Dagogo Jack.
The Rivers State Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria's secretariat complex dedication service was attended by reputable men of God across the Christian faith within and outside Rivers state. To God be the glory!
