According to Premiumtimes, reposted by Journalist KC on X, Zamfara State Government, rejected the new federal permanent secretary (Keshinro Ismaila), appointed by President Tinubu, saying Mrs Ismaila is not an indigene of the state and cannot legally represent the people of Zamfara. Hence, she must be dropped.

Even though the Zamfara State government claimed that Mrs Ismaila is not from the state, PREMIUM TIMES understands that she is from Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara state. Also, both her grandparents were born to a popular Christian family in Tsafe town. It was also said that residents of the state claimed the Keshinro appearing in her name is her husband's name, who is Yoruba.

Amid all that revelation, one would expect such a report to draw reactions and, reacting to it via the comments, someone suggested the people of Zamfara should be allowed to run their affairs as they want a Muslim indigene, they should be giving one.

Others disagree with that comment as nothing is wrong with a Christian from Zamfara State appointed by Tinubu as permanent secretary as she's qualified or is it just because she's a Christian? After that reply, another comment insisted the lady was not from Zamfara.

With all that, journalist KC replied that the comment showing a photo of the Christian lady was from Zamfara state.
