Legendary Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has opened up about his decision to stop attending Chelsea games, despite living just a stone's throw away from Stamford Bridge, according to Metro. In a recent interview with Portuguese outlet A Bola, Mourinho revealed that the constant chants from Chelsea fans calling for his return as manager have made him feel uncomfortable, leading him to distance himself from the club.

Mourinho, who enjoyed two successful spells at Chelsea, winning multiple titles including two Premier League crowns, has been a revered figure among Blues fans. However, his recent absence from games has raised eyebrows, with many wondering why he's chosen to stay away.

The 60-year-old tactician explained that the constant speculation and questions about his potential return as manager have disrupted his life. "I've always kept myself apart from any unethical behavior," Mourinho said. "In London, I live two minutes from Chelsea's stadium, from my house you can hear the goals and people's demonstrations. The day the stadium started singing my name, I stopped going to football."

Mourinho revealed that he's instead chosen to attend games at other stadiums, such as Benfica's Estadio da Luz, which is a 20-30 minute drive from his other home. However, even that has proven challenging, as he's faced similar questions and speculation about his potential return to management.
