Former Chairman Of The Kaduna State Chapter Of The Christian Association Of Nigeria (CAN) Reverend John Joseph Hayab has commended the Kaduna State Lawmakers for stepping up to the realization that investigations needed to be conducted to discover how things were being run during Nasir El-Rufai's tenure. It is no longer news that the Kaduna State House Of Assembly has decided to probe its Former Governor Nasir El-Rufai to obtain facts about how the state's funds were being utilized.

Reverend John Joseph Hayab showed his immense support for this investigation as he claimed it was a process to discover if there was any form of corruption or funds mismanagement during the tenure of the past Governor. He appreciated the efforts being made by the Kaduna State House Of Assembly to ensure there is a good explanation for why the state is presently in serious debt as previously claimed by Governor Uba Sani.

In an interview with Arise News Television today, he said: "I am not El-Rufai's enemy and am not sure El-Rufai is my enemy. Nasir El-Rufai is someone who I know very well. he is someone who I have helped, supported, stood for, and also defended. My principle is that if you are doing right I will tell you you are right and if you are doing wrong I will tell you you are wrong. I think what happened during the last administration is that there were so many cowards around who were not courageous enough to speak to power and tell the Governor some of the things that were not going right.

Uba Sani came into power and realized that the state was segmented, divided, and not at peace, and as a gentleman who wanted to lead the state with a difference he chose the part of uniting the state and you cannot unite the people without talking to them".
