It was gathered that the recovered bullets, which were found inside the vehicle they were in, consisted of 216 rounds of 9mm live ammunition and one round of AK-47 ammunition.

The Nigeria Police Force wrote: "The suspects were apprehended after the police operatives noticed their suspicious activities and approached them in order to question them. A subsequent search was conducted, which led to the recovery of the bullets in the vehicle."

They were said to have given more useful information to the police operatives about their activities and they are expected to be charged to court at the conclusion of the investigation into the recovery.

The state government as well as the police command in the state have been grappling with the activities of bandits, terrorists, kidnappers, among other criminal groups terrorizing residents. Some of them had been arrested and charged to various courts.
