In a fiery speech, former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole condemned the deliberate attempts to frustrate the Dangote Refinery's progress, calling for the harshest punishment for those responsible. He argued that the contradictions surrounding the refinery, such as exporting crude oil while denying allocations, are a deliberate attempt to sabotage the project and perpetuate hardship in Nigeria.

Oshiomhole emphasized that those responsible for this economic sabotage deserve severe punishment, stating that their actions will ultimately harm the entire nation if left unchecked. He praised President Bola Tinubu's courageous leadership and vision, highlighting the need for bold steps in driving reforms.

The Senate is currently reviewing the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA) to address these challenges, and Oshiomhole's strong stance has sparked debate on the need for decisive action against economic sabotage. His call for severe punishment has emphasized the importance of leadership courage in driving reforms and ensuring Nigeria's economic progress.
