Here Is The First Step Of Rigging Elections, Kajwang Now Opens Up After Many Years

opera.com 2 days ago

Even as the country continues with the matter of calming the Gen-Z protests, Homabay senator Moses Kajwang has opened another topic that has been troubling the country for more than a decade.

Kenya has been struggling with matters of elections five years after every election has been held. Two years ago, the country was also having a case in the Supreme Court of the same. However, the court gave out its verdicts and ordered the scrutiny of the IEBC board in Kenya to avoid the same cases in future.

Three years from today, Kenya will be conducting another general election to choose our leaders but the question remains; will the elections be free and fair?

On the same topic, Kajwang has revealed what he thinks might be causing rigging after five years. According to the Homabay senator, the voter registration card towards every election is a great problem. He thinks that rigging is dependent on voter registration and urges that identity cards can also do the same work, therefore is no need for voter registration.
