President William Ruto delivered a promising speech today on X Space, addressing the Gen Z's rejection of two nominated leaders intended to represent youth affairs in the Multi-Sectoral forum.

Ruto apologized to the people of Kenya for not listening to their views and for attempting to impose reforms and initiatives without proper public participation. He expressed that he has recognized his past mistakes and declared his commitment to change, stating that from today onwards, he is a changed person.

Ruto also criticized some of his allies for their arrogance towards the voters who elected them, claiming that this attitude has significantly contributed to divisions among the Kenyan people along tribal lines. He disclosed that he has consistently attempted to counsel these leaders privately to encourage them to change their public behavior.

Regarding the nominated senator's controversial remarks, Ruto mentioned that he has had several discussions with her to address her reckless statements. He assured the public that he is committed to continuing these efforts until there is a positive change, emphasizing that it is his responsibility to ensure unity in Kenya.

Regarding the dissolution of the Cabinet Ministry, William Ruto emphasized that it is a challenging decision, not as straightforward as it may appear. He explained that there are certain preparations and considerations he needs to address before proceeding with any cabinet changes.

Ruto emphasized the weight of responsibility entrusted to him by the Kenyan people, suggesting that if others were in his position, they would understand the gravity of the task at hand. He pledged to implement significant changes in the near future to ensure thorough and comprehensive reforms are undertaken.

"I know what's cutting, and I promise that I will be making changes. You made it very clear that I should not makes changes but to clean that slates so that no stones are left unturned. But you see you don't have the job I have and there are many things I have to do in response to your demands. So it's not an easy task as you may think, but I have heard the call of many Kenyans, I am happy that we are having this conversation"
