The measure of how a player is prolific in front of goals is usually measured in terms of number of goals scored per 90 minutes of action. A look at the goalscoring records of players in the English Premier League (EPL) so far this season shows that the most prolific right winger in the competition is a Nigeria-eligible footballer as per Stathead. Who is this football star and how has been doing it?

Michael Olise

This iconic footballer is Michael Akpovie Olise. Though he was born in England, the winger has a Nigerian father. This makes him eligible to play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria if he decides to do so. The 22-year-old has registered 0.74 goals in the Premiership per 90-minute of action for Crystal Palace so far this season. This value is obtained by dividing his number of EPL goals (9) by the cumulative number of full games played (12.2). This makes him the only right-winger that has gotten more than 0.70. It should be noted that Olise has two braces in the tournament within the period.

Mohamed Salah

The right winger that comes closest to this former France U-21 international is Mohamed Salah of Liverpool. The Egyptian star has been credited with 0.69 strikes in each 90 minutes of action. Leandro Trossard of Arsenal is next with a value of 0.55. One more guy that deserves to be on the list is Bukayo Saka who has taken credit for 0.51.

The coaching crew of the Nigerian national team need to convince this talented footballer to switch allegiance to Nigeria.
