As reported by the kenyans.co.ke, the Polish embassy while making this announcement said that they will resume their normal activities as from tomorrow. “We kindly inform you that on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi will be closed due to planned protests. We will resume normal operations on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.” Said the statement released by Polish embassy.
This move by the Polish embassy is coming in at a time when the Gen Z are preparing to hold peaceful protests today in Nairobi in solidarity with those who lost their lives last week. These protests have made many people in CBD to count millions of loses due to looting by some unlawful protesters.
