In a recent Facebook video shared on Friday, July 5, 2024, Reverend Father John Chinenye Oluoma took a strong stand against what he termed as "Parasitic Love."

Addressing his followers, the clergyman urged them to avoid relationships where one party only takes without giving anything in return.

His passionate plea was aimed at encouraging a more balanced and reciprocal approach to love and relationships.

Father Oluoma did not hold back in his criticism of those who exhibit such one-sided behavior.

He emphasized that genuine love should involve mutual giving and receiving, rather than one person constantly taking advantage of another's generosity.

The clergyman further extended his critique to Christians who give everything they have to pastors, ostensibly as a form of sowing seeds, only to find themselves in financial distress.

He expressed deep concern over this practice, calling out the blind faith that leads many to deplete their resources.

"Those of you who don't have sense will go and carry everything you have and give to your men and women of God. You are always in lack," Father Oluoma stated.

He recounted instances where individuals, after giving all they possess to religious leaders, end up coming to him for basic necessities.

"You will go and finish giving them then you will come here and be begging me for food," he added.
