If we Had Credible Polls, You Will See That The People Are Not With Bola Tinubu - Tonye Princewill

According to the Sun, Prince Tonye Princewill of the ruling All Progressives Congress highlighted that Nigeria's challenges go beyond the presidency to include governors, the National Assembly, and the judiciary.

While recognizing the president's role in addressing these issues, he emphasized that real change requires collective action and public engagement.

He argued that the entrenched political system has caused widespread public disillusionment.

He also suggested that the president has not sufficiently distinguished himself from the systemic issues affecting the country and has not taken adequate action to address these concerns.

In Tonye Princewill's words, he said, "Nigeria’s problems are bigger than who is the President. That’s why we seem destined to keep on complaining. It stems also from who is governor, who is in the National Assembly and who is in the judiciary. I agree that the President can and should drive the effort, but where we are at, only “people power” can overcome the obstacles I listed. If we had credible polls you will see that the people are not with the President (Tinubu), even more so now that the economy is the way it is and hardship is wearing agbada."
