A prominent chieftain of the PDP and the former chairman of the IRS in Benue State, Terzunwe Atser, has made critical revelations regarding the whereabouts of the party chieftains who announced Iyorchia Ayu's "suspension." In his interview on Channels TV, the loyalist to the PDP national chairman also revealed those who may be behind the move to suspend Ayu.

Addressing the topic, Terzunwe said, "By their countenance in the viral video, you can tell that those who announced Ayu's suspension from the PDP did not willingly make the announcement. They were coerced into doing it. They have been kidnapped till now, as their whereabouts are unknown. Their families do not know their whereabouts since Sunday morning.

He added, "They have been kidnapped and hidden somewher, and they made the announcement under threats to their lives. They are all loyalists to Dr. Ayu, and you can see how they acted sober in that video, like they were mourning. We do not take the announcement seriously. I suspect that the governor and his associates may be up to mischief. The PDP constitution says that only the NEC has the disciplinary power to take action against the National officers of the party, the president and his VP, governors and their deputies, and members of the national and state assemblies.
