President William Ruto on Friday afternoon hosted young Kenyans on na X space. The president announced about the engagement forum on Thursday and it was supposed to be a three hour session.
The gen Z who were majority of the protestors were urged to attend the space and engage the president on governance issues.
Zambian Politician Joseph Kalimbwe is among the foreigners who joined the space and was surprised at how the session was being conducted.
He was surprised when the host called president William Ruto a liar during the live session attended by over 50,000 people.
Kalimbwe further said it was his first time to listen to a president attending X space to engage the citizens.
"Am listening to a Twitter space between the Kenyan President, William Ruto and the young people of Kenya. The host just called Ruto a liar on the space and the President hasn’t bullied anyone. It’s the first time am listening to a President in a Twitter space. Democracy," the Zambian Politician said.
