Pep Guardiola, the manager of Manchester City, has expressed that every club in the Premier League would have desired to acquire the services of Declan Rice from Arsenal.

Last summer, Manchester City was unable to secure the signing of Rice from West Ham, as Arsenal broke their transfer record by agreeing to a £105 million deal for the talented English midfielder.

Rice has since justified the substantial fee with a string of exceptional performances for Mikel Arteta's team.

In his upcoming match against formidable opponents such as Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, and Bernardo Silva, Rice will face what could be considered the toughest challenge of his Arsenal career thus far.

When questioned by the media prior to the game, Pep Guardiola as asked about Manchester City's unsuccessful attempt to sign Rice and responded, "I believe that all the teams in the Premier League would have been interested in signing Declan Rice."
