Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ihuoma Emeruwa has taken to his social media platform to celebrate the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Benjamin Okezie Kalu on his 53rd birthday today.
The Honourable Speaker stated that he salutes Honourable Benjamin Kalu for his ability to see the beauty in every situation and for his contributions to Nigeria’s and South East’s development with reference to the Peace in South East Project and the South East Development Commission Bill.
The statement from the official X handle of the Abia State Speaker read thus;
"Your time in the House of Representatives has been very amazing, fruitful and inspiring so far. Although being in a position like yours means that you sometimes have to make tough decisions. But then, I salute your ability to see the beauty in every situation of things.
Hence, the need to celebrate you for your contributions to Nigeria’s and South East’s development with reference to your Peace in South East Project and the South East Development Commission Bill.
I therefore commend your commitment and unfaltering efforts. Happy 53rd birthday and many happy returns, my dear brother, Rep.
