The Former Senator who represented the good people of Kaduna Central Senatorial Zone, Senator Shehu Sani, has urged the people of Zamfara State to stop fighting their the former governor of the state and the current Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle.
While speaking, Senator Shehu Sani made it known that pulling down the former governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle shouldn't be their priority for now. He went on and noted that if Zamfara State was given the portfolio of Minister of State for culture, the people of Zamfara State would have accused President Bola Tinubu of being insensitive to their plight.
In addition, the former lawmaker made it known that a state ravaged by banditry, bloodshed and abduction should unite and tackle their problems, instead of looking for avenue to pull Matawalle down.
Senator Shehu Sani made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Sunday morning.
He wrote: "If Zamfara was given the portfolio of Minister of State for Culture, the People of Zamfara would have accused the President they elected of being insensitive to their plight. A state ravaged by Banditry, Bloodshed and abductions should unite and tackle their problems. Pulling down their Defence State Minister Mutawalle shouldn’t be a priority for now."
