Sani reacts as foreign firms boycott Nigeria's judicial system to file lawsuits against NG in Europe

The former Nigerian senator, an author, playwright and a human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani has through the post on his verified X handle @ShehuSani reacted to trends of legal dispute elvoving between foreign investors and the Nigerian government. The controversial politician emphatically frowned upon the process where the foreign firms boycott Nigeria's legal system and filed a lawsuit against Nigeria in European courts. The former federal lawmaker, in his reaction, said the investors come to our country and sign a contract agreement with the government, and when things go wrong, they file suits against us using European or American court. They want our money but don't Nigeria like our judicial system, he opined.

Further stating, he urged federal government to be very wary in signing any future agreement with foreign investors and should endeavour to include column to compel them seek legal redress or justice in Nigeria should things go wrong instead of taking the matter to foreign courts against the country. Meanwhile, the political activist goes further to tag Deji Adeyanju @adeyanjudey to enlighten the general public on the legal implications and principles of jurisdiction in this type of case.
