Many residents of Agege have always complained about the activities of armed robbers under the Pen Cinema Bridge, describing the vicinity as a very dangerous place to be at night, especially for those passing through that railway to the other side of the road.

Some of the residents even said crossing the railway station and under the bridge is now done by courageous people, especially at night, as the robbers are very many, targeting people's phones and other valuables.
