The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) have unveiled a formidable team set to represent the nation at the upcoming Paris games.
The selection was announced on Saturday.
Leading the charge is the star hurdler Tobi Amusan, who headlines a list of 36 athletes ready to showcase their talents on the international stage.
Team Nigeria will participate in nine athletics events across both men's and women's categories, as well as the Mixed 4×400m relay.
With a total of 16 male and 20 female athletes, the squad is poised to make a significant impact.
In the last edition held in Tokyo, Team Nigeria managed to secure two medals.
Blessing Oborududu won silver in the wrestling women's freestyle 68kg event, while Ese Brume won bronze medal in the women's long jump event.
