According to PM News, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa says that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the governorship poll for the state coming up in November because the ruling party has a massive support base.
Aiyedatiwa who said won the recently held governorship primary of the party, expressed the assurance of victory at the coming election, at a celebration celebration organised by his friends and associates in Akure, the state capital.
He said: appreciate all my supporters. You all went a long way for me, initiated things, spreading the message of O’datiwa, O’dirorun across the 18 local government areas of the state.
But it is not quite over yet. This is only the beginning. There is yet more territory to take and a fierce fight to come. This primary election was merely an inside race; the real fight is about to begin.
With 48,569 votes, Aiyedatiwa defeated the nearest opposition in the APC primary election Mayowa Akinfolarin with 15,343 votes and Olusola Oke with 14,915.
Out of the 18 Local Government Areas, he won in 16.
