Following a visit by the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and the presentation of the Beacon of Hope for Nigerian Youths award, Siminalayi Fubara, the executive governor of Rivers State, made a statement.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria visited and conferred the Beacon of Hope for Nigerian Youths award on me," tweeted Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara on Monday.
Accepting the prize with gratitude, I promised them that I would never stray from the principles that had earned it for me.
The head of the Peoples Democratic Party went on to say, "I used the medium to appeal to them to be peaceful and be ambassadors of our dear State and show the world how peaceful and hospitable we are."
