If You Find Any Other Federal Allocation Of Land For Me In The FCT, Call Me Out On It —Ireti Kingibe

opera.com 2 days ago

The representative of the government Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Ireti Kingibe, has repeatedly refuted claims that he received many government land allocations within the FCT. While appearing on the This Day show on Arise TV, the senator—whose tenure in FCT politics spans more than two decades—made it quite apparent that she has owned a single plot of land in the territory since 1991 and has resided in the same house for a considerable amount of time. In a direct response to the claims, Kingibe said categorically that, except from the parcel she has held for decades, she has received no other federal property allocations.

She boldly declared her openness to scrutiny and welcomed anyone with counter-arguments to share them openly. Although Kingibe has faced many obstacles and accomplished much throughout his time in FCT politics, he is now under much more scrutiny due to these claims. The senator's remarks are part of a larger political and public movement about land distribution and ownership in the FCT, which has frequently been the subject of heated dispute. Kingibe's daring challenge shows that she is sure of the legality of her property ownership and is prepared to face any proof of wrongdoing head-on.

I have been involved in FCT politics for the past twenty years; you may check with me', Kingibe remarked. No preacher is willing to visit you in your home... I have lived in the house since 1991, and I have owned the land for as long as that. Seek me out if you discover any other parcels of land in the FCT that have been allotted to me by the federal government. If everyone just took a small plot of land, there would be plenty for everyone, in my opinion. Land doesn't interest me.
