Spanish Giants Barcelona are gearing up for the end of the current footballing season which has been hugely disappointing by their standards. The club have began making some vital decision on the squad players they are likely to keep or sell ahead of next season. One of such decision that has already been reportedly made is retaining one of their captains and goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen.

Barcelona are said to be determined to keep Ter Stegen in Catalonia. The 32 year old German shot stopper recently attracted interests from Saudi Arabia club side Al Ittihad who are ready to lure him to the club with a lucrative offer. Ter Stegen contract at Barcelona expires in 2028 and he seems set to be at the club for the foreseeable future.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are determined to hold on to Ter Stegen as the undisputed number one goalkeeper for next season and he is one of the few players the club consider untouchable.

Despite criticisms by a section of the Barcelona fan base over some of his performances, the club are determined to keep him.

It remains to be seen how Marc-Andre Ter Stegen will fare at Barcelona next season.
