President William Ruto has commended the police for doing a good job during the protests against the proposed 2024 finance bill amid claims that several people were Killed in the process.
Several sources have confirmed that the Kenya Human Rights Commission has stated that over 20 Kenyans were Killed in different parts of the country during these protests.
Former prime minister of Kenya who is also the Presidential candidate of the Azimio la Umoja Coalition, Honorable Raila Odinga who was speaking about these deaths has stated that the police should be protecting Kenyans who are participating in the protest against the proposed 2024 finance bill.
The renowned politician has also asked why the government decided to deploy the Kenya Defense Forces soldiers in the streets wanting to know if the police had failed.
According to the reports given by Raila Odinga, the Kenya Defense Forces can only be deployed in the streets if the police have failed to do their job.
