BLAZING A TRAIL: Senator Dickson Donates Fire Station to His Community - Bayelsa State

The Federal Government has inaugurated a state-of-the-art fire station in Bayelsa State, courtesy of Senator Henry Seriake Dickson. The facility, located in Toru Orua, Sagbama Local Government Area, is aimed at enhancing the Federal Fire Service's response capabilities in the region.

Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, praised Senator Dickson's initiative, noting that it demonstrates his commitment to the safety and well-being of his constituents. The Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Abdulganiyu Jaji, also expressed gratitude for the donation, highlighting the importance of such collaborative efforts in strengthening the country's fire response capabilities.

The newly commissioned fire station is equipped with modern equipment and vehicles, poised to bolster firefighting efforts in the state. Senator Dickson emphasized the need for lawmakers to prioritize fire safety and consider allocating resources to enhance fire response capacities in their constituencies.
