President William Ruto continues to face escalating challenges despite his promising State of the Nation's address at State House and his recent engagement with youths on X Space yesterday. During these events, he pledged to transform and vowed never to deceive the Kenyan people again.

Even after President Ruto announced plans to dissolve 47 state corporations with overlapping functions to reduce operational costs, as well as suspending the appointment of Chief Administrative Secretaries (CAS) and reducing government advisors by half, a section of Kenyans and leaders continue to call for his resignation.

A note circulating on social media ahead of today's Saba Saba march in the CBD suggests that Generation Z and several leaders remain sceptical of William Ruto's preparedness for the country. They are calling on him and his entire government to quit.

The poster encourages Generation Z and millennials to turn out in big numbers tomorrow on Saba Saba Day to oppose what they call Ruto's regime's 'Corrupt Government'. protestors are advised to wear black in memory of protestors killed by police during previous demonstrations.

Kabando Wa Kabando, an activist and former Mukurweini Constituency Member of Parliament, has declared his support for today's Saba Saba Day. He supports Generation Z's initiative to remove Ruto and his cronies from office, whom he refers to as thieves.

Kabando Wa Kabando criticised Ruto's decision to form a task force to audit public debt, claiming it was insufficient to solve the serious issue at hand. He called Ruto a manipulator and a liar, dismissing any hope that Ruto would change as wishful thinking.
