Residents in Masokani, in Matungulu sub-county within Machakos County, today expressed their frustration with the inadequate road conditions in their area.
This dissatisfaction led them to organize a protest on the streets to draw attention to their concerns. The protest comes on the heels of several demonstrations initiated by the younger generation known as Generation Z, which eventually came to a halt because criminals invaded the gen z protests and also the president withdrew the finance bill
The poorly maintained roads not only pose challenges for residents in terms of transportation and access but also impact the overall quality of life in the area. These difficulties have prompted the local community to raise their voices in protest, seeking urgent action to address the longstanding issues plaguing their town.
Unlike the gen z protests this protests in machakos today were marked with all people off different age group showing that social awareness and activism among all sorts of citizen irregardless of age. Their willingness to mobilize and speak out against poor roads and deficiencies reflects a desire for positive change and a more responsive government.
