The Edo State Police Command has paraded the suspect allegedly responsible for the killing of a Uniben undergraduate student known as Glory Adekolure. The Suspect alleged that he had seized the victim's neck from behind, forcibly dragging her into a nearby pig farm and using her handbag to strangle her.

He stated that despite her attempts to scream, her cries were stifled by the brutality of the attack. He also noted that at one point, a flashlight beam pierced the darkness, but the person holding it couldn't see them due to their position on the ground.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, 'I spotted the girl when she was going home that night. She had just alighted from a Keke Napep and had earphones in her ears. As she walked down the street, I was following her without her knowledge.

I suddenly grabbed her neck from behind. I dragged her inside a nearby pig farm and used her handbag to strangle her. She tried to scream for help, and I saw a flashlight pointed in our direction. I think the person couldn't see us because we were both on the ground.'
