Born in Lisbon, Portugal, Renato Veiga is a 20 years old professional footballer who plays mainly as a defensive midfielder.He started his football career as a youth with Sporting CP in 2010 before joining Real SC in 2013 and later back to Sporting CP in 2019 where he transitioned into the seniors.He was offered out on loan to FC Augsburg in 2023 before joining FC Basel that same year.At national team level he has played for a number of Portugal youth teams such as Under 19, 20 and 21.
