Lateef Fagbemi, the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, clarified that he doesn't have a Twitter account and cautioned against engaging with any impersonators. This statement was issued through his Special Assistant to the President on Communication and Publicity, Kamarudeen Ogundele. Fagbemi emphasized that while he communicates with the public through various channels, Twitter is not one of them.

Ondo State Deputy Governor, Olayide Adelami, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of APC members in Owo who voted for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the primary election. Adelami commended the commitment of Owo residents to Aiyedatiwa's candidacy, noting the overwhelming support shown at the polling station. He also praised the peaceful conduct of the election, acknowledging the efforts of INEC officials, security agencies, and party members.

Ondo APC primary: Kogi gov, Ododo in heated argument with guber aspirant

Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi State and Ondo APC governorship aspirant, Gbenga Edema, clashed over the distribution of election materials for the party's primary. The confrontation occurred at a Hotel in Akure, where Edema accused Ododo's committee of breaching protocols for the exercise. Ododo defended the distribution, stating that materials had been sent to wards in the North and South senatorial districts. Edema, however, claimed that his ward in the South senatorial district had not received any materials.
