In his address, Hinn stressed that a deep connection to the Word of God naturally leads to a more robust prayer life.
He elaborated on this scripture, revealing that when believers immerse themselves in God’s Word, prayer becomes an instinctive response. Hinn also argued that a prayerless life often reflects a deficiency of scripture in one’s daily routine. He suggested that the absence of God’s Word opens the door for worldly distractions and fleshly desires to dominate.
Encouraging his followers to let the Word of God guide their lives, Hinn urged believers to fill their hearts and minds with scripture, ensuring that their prayers align with God’s will and purpose.
According to him, "Jesus said in John 15:7 that If my word is in you, you will call and you will pray. So if you are prayerless, let the word of God fill your lips. When the word of God is in you, you will pray. It is automatic to pray when the word of God is in us. But if the word is not in us, the flesh and the world takes over."
