In a recent video on YouTube, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), recently shared an inspiring story from his early days in ministry. Speaking to his congregation, Pastor Adeboye recounted a time when his family faced significant financial difficulties, emphasizing the power of faith and God's provision.

He described a challenging period when even basic provisions like meat were beyond their reach, forcing him to prepare his children for a dinner without any meat. By divine inspiration, Pastor Adeboye found a creative way to address the situation with his children. He used his own experience to illustrate how God provides and sustains His people even in the most challenging times.

According to him, "I have told you this story several years ago when we were in the camp. When I became General overseer newly, things were hard in my family to the point that there were no money to buy meat at all. So we are going to eat dinner without meat. I have to prepare the children for that kind of dinner. By God inspiration, I took them on a walk. And I began to tell them that when I was young, my parents used to give us what they called okra meat. They will take an okra and cut off the head and tail and put it in the okra soup. So that as we are eating we'll be eating the okra meat. But by God's grace and miraculous working, shortly after I shared the story with them, God provided a meat for us."
