Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has addressed the issue of nationwide protests, attributing them to those who were unsuccessful in the elections.

According to Vanguard, his remarks were made during the APC South East Stakeholder’s Meeting held in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

Ganduje's statements shed light on his perspective regarding the motivations behind the protests and his determination to prevent any unrest in Nigeria.

At the meeting, he claimed that the individuals leading the protests are primarily those who lost the recent elections.

He stressed that the APC would not allow these demonstrations to agitate the populace, emphasising the party's commitment to maintaining peace and stability across the country.

He further emphasised that the APC would not tolerate any form of crisis or conflict in Nigeria, highlighting the importance of national unity and rejecting any attempts to incite violence.

Ganduje's comments are a clear message that the party prioritises stability and cohesion in the face of challenges.

Drawing from past experiences, Ganduje expressed confidence in the APC's ability to navigate the current difficulties.

He pointed to Ebonyi State as a model for the party's success and expressed optimism about replicating this success in Abia State.

Ganduje's remarks come at a time of heightened political tension and public dissatisfaction, which have led to widespread protests.

By framing these protests as the actions of electoral losers, Ganduje is attempting to delegitimize them and assert the APC's position as the stable governing party.

Ganduje said, "Those engineering protests are people who lost elections. We will not let them to incite our people. Nobody should incite us. We can never honour any crisis in Nigeria.

"We don’t want any crisis or war. I have no regrets for what we have passed through, because it has made us stronger. Ebonyi is a template, and they have shown us the way. Abia is next. Don’t eat alone, because if you eat alone, you die alone."
