The executive Governor of Enugu state, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has reacted after he received an award for Infrastructure at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Saturday.
The executive Governor of Enugu state, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah is a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Enugu state Governor, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah stated on his verified Twitter page; "It was a great honour to receive the Distinguished Award for Infrastructure at the Nigeria Excellence Awards in Public Service, NEAPS, at the Presidential Villa last night. We are humbled by the fact that our modest efforts to revamp our roads and other infrastructure are gaining recognition."
He added; "However, success abhors complacency. So, this award is going to spur us to do even more. We are going to hit the road to ensure that all the Trunk A roads in our city and rural areas are paved. As you're probably aware, besides the initial 71 urban roads, and the ongoing major inter-local government roads, some of which will equally serve as gateways to our neighbouring regions, we are commencing work on 80 other roads."
He stated further; "We are ever grateful to Ndi Enugu and the Federal Government for their ceaseless support and cooperation. We appreciate them for recognising our efforts at turning around the fortunes of our beloved state."
